Clicked download, saved to desktop "btbe21.zip" file tried to open file, and was asked what program to use to open file. I tried "excel" but was not able to open it. What program should I have used to open the zip file?
A: As outlined on the download page .. "If software is downloaded as a standard Compressed Zip file (.zip) it requires unzipping for use. Trial Zip software is available free from Winzip http:// www.winzip.com or a simple freeware zip utility is available from JustZIPit http://free-backup-software.net/ ". Once it is unzipped you will have an Excel file. To assist you I have attached an unzipped and pre-registered version of your software. This is an Excel file you can simply save to your computer and run using Excel. Q: After using software for a few days, I am now getting a request for an Excel password. As far as I know, I never set one up.
A: The software allows you to give it a test run for seven days after which you need to purchase a license to continue use. When you purchase a license you are sent Registration Details to input into the software. Some sections of the software do include excel password protection and this is an integral component of the processing. You should not need to unprotect or change any Excel password it is controlled by the programming. If it is altered the programming may not be able to access the required sections. If Excel passwords have been accidentally altered you may need to reinstall the software to restore the software to its initial state.
