Questions & Answers
Q: We are in need of a custom schedule. We need a schedule that can encompass one ten hour shift (7a-5:30p), two eight hour shifts (1 7a-4p & 1 8:30-5p), one call dog shift, which means you only take call 5p-7a during the week and not work days during the week your on call dog. We also need to be able to delineate who is on call throughout the week and weekend. There is always four people on call 7 days a week 365 days a year. So not only do we schedule shifts, but call schedules as well(regular call and call dog). Can your programs autotrack and autopopulate?
A: You should be able to set up our Shift Scheduler to handle you requirements by defining each requirement as a shift. The schedule is automatically filled (populated) when you Build Shift and tracks employee hours. We can refine it to suit any additional requirements. You can download the software and give it a test run from https://bizpep.com/shiftscheduler.html .

Q: I recently purchased this program for my individual uae. I am attempting to change some of the parameters in the spreadsheet regarding costs. I would like the variable costs to be percentage driven rather than dollar driven. When I attempt to unprotect the cell, it requires me to give a password. A password to change was not included in the registration information I received.
A: You can toogle the Expense by clicking on the blue cell in the expense line (cell C18) and selecting Monetary or Percent. This allows you to set your expense input as dollars or percent.
