Questions & Answers
Q: Can this service handle 500,000 or more pages?
A: Theoretically yes, practically no. When using it in Dynamic mode you can set the depth and limit to any values you like and the crawler will keep on crawling. However the more pages it crawls the longer it takes and when the number of pages is large (ie (>5000) the time becomes an issue because your server may timeout before the crawl is complete or the calling server (ie google) may give up waiting.

Q: With Form1MySQL, I was playing around with the Demo. I saw a file function where it allows you to browse for a file but need more info on that feature. How does this allow a user to build a field where they can upload a file and where can the file go when upload? What are my options here? I would like to have an option to where someone can upload a file and it be stored in a directory on the web server. Is this possible using File Maker Pro? I am very interested in this.
A: The browse file field feature can be used with the File Attachment function see the File Attachments section of the Help file for details, https://bizpep.com/form1/ . The attached file is not saved to your server but sent as an attachment to the form delivery email. It is not saved to your server, this would require specialized scripting.

Q: Help! do you have a help page that will give me step by step instructions to convert your Java script to html. I need something that will convert it over for me I do not Know how to write html it needs to be automatic
A: I am not quite sure what you mean. You do not need to convert javascript to html. Use the Form1 Builder to generate your form code by inputting your variables and upload it to your server. The uploaded code is html with php code for the form processing? If you let me know exactly what you are trying to do, how you are doing it and the result I can asst further. It is strongly recommended you first build a QucikForm as outlined in the help file. Once you have a QuickForm running you will appreciate how it all works and can then move onto more complex forms.

Q: During a session, I can create and save variables. They can be saved and loaded. If I start a new session, the old variables have not been saved. I have cookies turned on. Why can't I save the variables?
A: Session variables only remain during a session. If the session ends or the form is submitted then those variables are cleared ready for the next form submission. That is the way session variables work.

Q: I added my registration code once when opening the program but the next time I opened the program, it showed that I was using an evaluation version. I did add two domains to my registration. How to I overcome this?
A: Make sure cookies or enabled and not blocked on your browser. If after you have registered and reopen Form1 Builder it is not registered your computer cookies have either been disabled / blocked or cleared. Registration Details are saved as a cookie on your computer, if cookies are not enabled or cleared you will need to re input registration details each time you use the Form1 Builder.
