Q: I'm interested in buying Form1 Builder MYSQL. I'd like to be sure I can install in on both my desktop and on my laptop. Would that be a problem?
A: No, if you are the only user a single license will cover both installations.

Q: I build and sell websites and your software appeals to me very much. I want to be able to build a website with your software, sell the website then transfer the website to the customer with your software included, allowing the purchaser to continue managing the site. How am I best to go about this. Are licences transferable? Could I buy a licence for each site I build and pass this licence to someone else.
A: For license purchases in volume lots of 10 or more we can set up a reseller structure where Registration details/code can then be generated on an as required basis and distributed to your clients. This process allows you to receive margins on sales and control license issuing to your clients. To use this system you need to make a purchase of 10 or more licenses. Once the transaction has been processed you will be issued with Registration Details for the total number of licenses. You can use these to register/upgrade your own software. You can add additional licenses (in lots of 10) in the future always. Once your transaction is complete we will issue a Reseller ID and then you will be able to issue individual client licenses. Basically this allows you to license the software yourself to develop the web site and then use the same license to generate an individual client license allowing the license to be transferred to your client. Please Note: This Reseller offer will lapse if not accepted within 14 days, a no refund policy applies to volume lots.

Q: I have a first name field called Dear in the GM database - I see where there is a deffirstname field in the code and I currently have it set to Contact b/c if I put Dear in this field, then the Contact record comes in blank. Using just one field in the form, is there a way to populate both the Dear field with the first name, the Contact field with the full contact name, and the Lastname field with the lastname (which is currently working)?
A: Not using the standard form processing. You would need to add some additional scripting either as pre processing for the form in php or you could use javascript in the form page to split and add hidden fields. Both of these would required additional development work.

Q: Once an email is retrieved in GM, the record is created, but seems the email itself vanishes, thus we don't know who sent in the record.
A: If you setup a Defined Email Address field in the form and in GoldMine it will be imported. See the Help file and example form for details.
