Q: I am new to this and trying to sell my first business. Something is not clicking for me, if I say I want a lower 3 year average return on investment, why does that make the valuation go up? I would think it would be just the opposite. What am I not getting?
A: This is the return for the purchaser. If the purchaser wants a % return of 10% and the business generates a $1000 then the valuation is $5000 ie 20% of $5000 is $1000 . If required return is 10% then the valuation is $10000 ie 10% of $10000 is $1000. So the lower the required return the higher the valuation (assuming all else remains constant).

Q: I'm thinking of using your bizpeps hosting to use with goldmine. I d/l the form1builder Goldmine but have no idea how to get forms loaded on the bizpep hosting site. Or how do I create forms on ezyhosting to use webimport into goldmine?
A: The Form1 Builder GoldMine and bizpep Hosting are 2 separate things. bizpep simply provides the processing component if you do not want or cannot run form processing on your server. The actual form for either of these is uploaded to your server (ie web host) not bizpep. If you want to run processing on your server follow the instructions in the Form1 Builder GoldMine (you do not need to use bizpep). If however you want to use bizpep to process the data set up a bizpep GoldMine account and build your self a form (you can use Form1 Builder for this by just using the Form layout code not the processing code) and upload it to your server. You will need to make sure your form includes the required bizpep variables see https://bizpep.com/form1/ and points to your bizpep account.

Q: Profit and Loss statements from Quickbooks Pro 2006 is not exporting and all I get is a Profit and Loss statement of labor costs which is not relevant to our business.
A: Does the Example PL.csv file (packaged with the software import? If so then the software is running correctly and you have a QuickBooks format problem. Have you followed the instructions outlined in the Update section of Help file to create a PL.csv file? Your PL.csv should be similar in format to the Example PL.csv file. If so it will import into the compiler.
