Q: I am using Goldmine for years now, and understand quite a bit about it. I have several web sites, am I better off setting up the forms myself or hiring someone else to set it up. Is it that difficult? or do you have to be a tech wiz kid?
A: It is not difficult. You can easily build basic forms, and if you just want to process existing forms it is basically fill in a couple of fields and click. However like everything the more complex you want it the more effort is required. For more info and to give it all a test run go to https://bizpep.com/form1/ .

Q: I have found that when I change the Valuation Data field for 1)Market Value of Property and/or 2) Other Investment of Business it has no effect on the calculated "Current Expected Valuation". This is true even when I put in false values that exceed the computed expected value. How can this be true? The value of real property needs to be calculated in the Expected Value - True?
A: As outlined in the mouseover comments the Other Investment in Business value is adjusted to balance the equation ie if you change the property value and leave the valuation data the same click the Update Total Investment to button on the valuation sheet the Other Investment value will change to adjust for the property change. Because the performance of the business is not impacted by the adjustment (which balances out) the valuation remains the same there is just more or less Other Investment.

Q: Would you please give me the password to unprotect the worksheet
A: Input cells (blue) are not protected and are the only cells that should be changed for the software to function correctly. All non-input cells and Visual Basic code are protected to ensure integrity and protect source code. All input is via unprotected input cells, protected cells contain formula and should not be changed. The software is fully functional and the protection is in place to ensure the software formula and code is not corrupted.
