Q: There are certain fields that are required for the form that are on page one and I have included them in the hidden field section of page 1 - <input type="hidden" name="defrequired" value="first_name, last_name, email, company" />. Each page of the form has a form action looking to the next page to process until you come to the final page. Some people skip these fields and the system is not redirecting them to fill them in like it normally would. Can you tell what I have done wrong in setting these up.

A: It seems to work for me. ie first_name, last_name, email, company are required on the first page or the form does not proceed?

Q: Some people want to add their credit card information to their file through this form. Some do not. For those that do decide to enter credit card information is there a way using your program when they fill in the credit card number that they are then forced to fill out other fields but if they leave credit card number blank then they do not have to?

A: No. To do this you would need a specific script developed to submit to a different processor script or provide a conditional branch. It should also be noted that Credit Card details should not be sent via an unsecured network.

Q: I need a program that will allow me to build a sign in page for my website. My user must be able to sign in and use a password, then the program will direct them to a specific page. I.e.;Bill signs into his account with a user name of Bill and a password of 123, Bill is directed to page "A". Ted signs in with a user name of Ted and a password of 456, Ted is directed to page "B", etc. Can your software do this, and can I build this with very limited knowledge?

A: Password Page Protection Software does not provide this type of functionality and I think you would need a specific script developed which in most cases would use a MYSQL database for password storage.

Q: Essentially what I am looking for is a very, very simple formmail processing form in either CGI-PERL or PHP that will simply and ONLY send the email without returning an HTML window. I can validate the fields within FLASH so I need to skip validation so that the user does not get sent out of my flash file into the HTML world. Do you have anything like this, or can we customize something? It seems that all the forms out there force the validation on you, therefore they return another browser window or page either confirming the mail sent or validation error.
