Questions & Answers
Q: I was able to create and successfully submit a site map using your product twice. Then I made changes to the site and created another site map. Now Google is telling me You have specified ....com as the preferred domain for this site. Apparently it needs to have www. in front for it to work properly. Now I get this message "Sitemap not allowed" and Google isn't seeing my URLs. I have another website. I specified this one using www. and now I can't get Google to recognize this one. It just gives me the message "You have no URLs in your site map." Even thought I looked at the code and the URLs are defiantly there.
A: It sounds like you are having difficulty with your Google Webmaster account settings. The urls in you site map must be the same ie www or no www as stated in your account. If you use www in your sitemap Start Url then it will be applied to all urls in the sitemap. If your site maps are displaying as xml with the correct urls in your browser then the problem is most likely with your google account. If you continue to have difficulty try the very helpful webmaster support forum.

Q: I'm testing the feasibility of this product for our purposes; so far, it seems that it gets quite confused with an XML doctype declaration (<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>) that is the very next line after the auto-generated PHP code pasted into the top of the test file. Perhaps it's due to the server environment, but after reading "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in C:rootfoxracingshox.comserviceConsumersTestPassword.php on line 41", it seems that incompatibility with XML is more likely..? Thanks for your enlightenment, in advance.
A: The code is php so your server must parse the php. In most cases your server is not set up to run php for a .xml extension file. There are 2 possible ways around this. Set your server to run php for a .xml file extension or change the file name to a .php extension and then add xml header commands to the file so the server sees it as php and the browser sees it as xml. Hope this makes sense.

Q: I have some problem to open the excel sheet, caused by Macro Security, and this is because your signature for macros was expired or revoked.
A: The reason you receive a security notice is that we do not pay a third party for a security certificate of questionable value. If you download from our servers nobody except us can modify the files in any way and they are completely safe. To run the software you will need to enable Macros. To adjust macro security levels from Excel go Tools, Macro, Security, Security Level. It is recommended that you select Security Level as Medium. When you open software with macros and Security Level is set as Medium you are presented with a message advising that the software contains macros with a prompt to Disable or Enable Macros. Once you have made your adjustment close Excel and reopen, then when prompted click Enable Macros.
