Q: We are having difficulty using your software - we cannot input data without your system changing it - and when we try, we are coached to unprotect it - what is the password to unprotect the document ?

A: Input cells (blue) are not protected and are the only cells that should be changed for the software to function correctly. As outlined in the Terms and Conditions and Frequently Asked Questions page all non-input cells and Visual Basic code are protected to ensure integrity and protect source code. All input is via unprotected input cells, protected cells contain formula and should not be changed. The software is fully functional and the protection is in place to ensure the software formula and code is not corrupted. Follow the instructions, you only input values in the blue cells. From this data other values are calculated (ie all the non imput cells are formula).

A: The SiteMap XML code searches for all href links in the crawled pages, as long as the links are formatted as href liks in the web page code they will be extracted.

Q: What is the method used for business valuation? I assume it's not the discounted cash flow method.

A: The Business Valuation Model combines Relative Indicators for future performance with basic financial data (Revenue, Variable Costs, and Fixed Costs) to value the business. It is not an accounting method and the forecast and valuation are be based on your subjective views expressed as quantifiable values.
