Questions & Answers
Q: I bought a registered copy of MailMailer -- and it seemed to be working properly at first. Now it's not. If I manually load in a single recipient, it's OK. If I load in a file of recipients and click "send" -- it tells me they've been sent but I've got "status list all" selected and don't get the displays anticipated. The "send" operation seems to be taking a lot of time. And, more importantly, the messages don't seem to be going out.
A: What has changed? Either the MailMailer code/files or your server setup? Check your list is valid ie no non valid emails etc. If you feel the MailMailer file may have been corrupted in any way redownload and re-install it. If this is not the issue you need to contact your server host to identify/fix the changes/problem. The send issue could be related to the server support for the php mail function having been changed? Try the Test Code https://bizpep.com/phptest.html . If it fails (ie no email received) then it is defiantly a server issue. There is no reason the software would stop working unless something has changed?

Q: Does your script automatically create a mysql database corresp to the form? I have created a small form and provided the database table user/pass but it does not post data to the database.
A: As clearly stated in the Help file https://bizpep.com/form1/ .."To use the MYSQL option you must have a server based MYSQL database and it must have an existing table with field names that correspond to form field names." ie you need to set up your table with the corresponding form filelds you want to be imported, just add them when you build your table. Then if the form processor finds form fields that correspond to database fields the filed data will be automatically imported.

Q: Not sure if I have followed the instructions correctly, but I can't seem to go in to the model & make amendments to it. For example, if I click on "Variable Costs" & try to edit it & call it Indirect costs, I am prompted to enter a password, because it is protected. This can't be right!?
A: On the Input sheet you can change the labels and the change is passed through out the model. Just tab or step into the blue sells to change. Input cells (blue) are not protected and are the only cells that should be changed for the software to function correctly. As outlined in the Terms and Conditions and Frequently Asked Questions page all non-input cells and Visual Basic code are protected to ensure integrity and protect source code. All input is via unprotected input cells, protected cells contain formula and should not be changed. We do offer Commercial licenses for the use of software for inter-business support, advice, or consulting and upon request with a Commercial license can provide an unprotected software version allowing you to to view the formula applied, access cell contents to enhance your knowledge of software operation (macros remain protected) and undertake minor refinements (ie headings etc). In this format application sheets are unprotected, the workbook itself and the Terms and Conditions and Instructions sheets remain protected to maintain licencing and intellectual property rights notification. Our standard Non-Commercial license is for private and internal business use only. You can upgrade from a Non-Commercial license to a Commercial license at https://bizpep.com/upgrade.html . Please note that Bizpep retain full copyright and intellectual property rights at all times.

Q: I am trying to use your HII code. I followed all instructions, but something does not work: either I copied it in a wrong file, wrong place, or else. Looks like a part of code is displayed on the page as text and the hii does not work. I checked my host, it does support php.
A: If the code displays php is not running or you have broken the code. Run the test code https://bizpep.com/phptest.html to check your php . Your file may need to have a .php extension for php to run on your server? ie your form may need to be form.php not form.html . Only use a text editor (ie notepad) not a html editor. Copy and paste all the Hii script code (including the php start and end tags) to the very top of your Form1 processing code above all other code.

Q: I am an individual that is interested in valuing some business opportunities. I would like to more fully understand your formulas. I want to be prepared to argue differences in Bizpep's valuations and the seller's valuations. What would it cost me as an individual to view the formula's in your valuation software?
A: The relationships are outlined in the Forecast Data section of the Help file https://bizpep.com/businessvaluation.html . Also if you purchase a Commercial license (3* $39.00) we can provide an unprotected software version allowing you to to view the formula applied to enhance your knowledge of software operation (macros remain protected). In this format application sheets are unprotected, the workbook itself and the Terms and Conditions and Instructions sheets remain protected to maintain licencing and intellectual property rights notification.
