Q: Are Excel 2010 and 2007 suitable?
A: Excel 2010/2007 are suitable. When you open a .xls Excel file with Excel 2010/2007 a "Security Warning some active content has been disabled" message maybe displayed. This indicates that Excel has disabled macros. To enable Macros (which are required for software operation) click Options, select Enable this Content and then click OK. This will enable macros and allow the software to function. If a save Compatibility message is displayed you can use the Save As function to either save the .xls file as an Excel Macro-enabled Workbook which has a . xlsm extension or deselect the check file compatibility option and keep the file as an Excel 97-2003 Workbook with a .xls extension. Either option is suitable.

Q: I am creating an app for a local club where members have to check in when they enter. I have all the membership data in an access db. I am considering options between oracle's apex and your toolset. Do you have any samples or pointers for me to see how difficult it may to create this app with your tools. The specs are: 1. Check-in Form - will accept membership tag information from a USB bar code reader (this is std in and works into the active program in windows e.g. notepad etc). Upon entry of bar code, the form must query the member table to confirm the member's data and present the results (Welcome, Expired, Invalid, Not Allowed etc) and update the visit_log table to log the transaction. Overtime I would like it to present the member's picture and other data as well. 2. Member management - this would be a form app to create, edit and delete membership data with triggers to record changes (old data into log tables and new data into member tables). Also, could your forms work with oracle's db too?
A: Form1 Builder MYSQL does not provide query functionality, or full database manipulation. It simpler generates form code (for layout and processing) and then when the form is submitted adds the form data to the MYSQL database and sends it to the delivery email address. This does not provide the functionality you require, this would have to be specifically programmed. Form1 Builder MYSQL does not work with oracle.

Q: Hi, we have a form1 script on our website which I believe our web design company generated from you guys, we have recently moved our servers and noticed that the variables of the form ie $name, $enquiry are now empty, but the rest of the email is coming through as normal. I'm struggling to get hold of our web designers who bought the script on our behalf and wondered if you might be able to point me to any docs/support that may help me get our script up and running again. Thanks for your help.
A: Depending on how long ago the script was purchased it should be similar (the same?) as that provided by our Form1 Builder software, https://bizpep.com/form1/ . If there were no changes at all to the script or the form then it should run exactly the same. If the form fields were changed then the variables set in the script may need to be changed. You can see the script if you open the file in a text editor. The Help file https://bizpep.com/form1/ sections 2.2.1. Content and 2.2.2. Required Fields should be checked (depending on the age of the script your variables may be slightly different). If it is a very old script pre Aug 2004 then it would be best to upgrade to a script built by the current Form1 Builder Software.

Q: How do you change line items so that they correspond when compiling? Attached is an example of a month that has been updated with my specific company line items. Hopefully, there's an easy way to do this.
A: The line items in your MYOB are exported to the PL file. Once you have exported your PL data you import it into the compiler by clicking the Update PL button in the compiler software. This loads the compiler with the line items that were exported from MYOB. Mouseover the red marker cells in the Comiler for full instructions. If you still have difficulty let me know exactly what you are doing and the result and I will be able to assist further.
