Q: What is the possibility of porting your software to OSX on the Mac. OK we can now run XP on Intel machines but since these are written for Excel I wondered if this made it any easier?

A: We are currently developing browser based versions of some of our current Excel titles (due for release next year). These will be platform independent. At present most of the the Excel software will run on a Mac that has Mac Execl.

Q: I have tried to make this work in slimbrowser, firefox and IE and I cannot get anywhere..I built a database .. and I was hoping to use this as our sign up app.

A: The software is not browser dependant as all form processing is php server based. Did you get a form running and did it deliver an email (to do this you need php on your server, you can test php using the test code at https://bizpep.com/phptest.html It is usually best to set up a Quick Form (see the help file) initially and test the form submission before you move to modifying and databases. If the form delivers and it is an insert into mysql that is the issue make sure that you have matching database field and form field names, they must be the same for the data to be added. If you let me know what stage you are up to ie what worked or did not work and send me the url of your form and the form file as an email attachment I will be able identify the problem for you.

Q: I cannot register the Queuing model and I cannot get to the data spreadsheets.

A: To register the software and for it to function macros must be enabled. Please ensure you enable macros when your open the software Excel file. To assist you I have attached a pre-registered version of your software. Simply save it to your computer and open it with macros enabled. If this response not resolve your issue please provide specific details and I will be able to assist further.

Q: I purchased your Form Builder software with paypal. I read on your order form that you provide instant download, so I presumed I will be able to activate my form straight away. However when the paypal payment went through I did not receive any download, or registration information.

A: Your PayPal payment was by eCheque. As PayPal advise ...'This eCheque Payment will remain "Uncleared" until the funds have cleared from the sender's account, which usually takes four working days.'..The transaction is not complete until your funds are cleared.

Q: Can this software, or something else you offer, password-protect a whole directory in a site?

A: Password Page Protection Software is designed to protect individual web pages not directories. You could simply add a single password protection code to each page in the directory using and include("password.php") as outlined in the Generated Code section of the Help file. However the best directory protection would be done via the host environment. Most server hosts allow you to protect a directory. You would need to contact your server host to determine how this was done for your site.
