Q: How do I import from excel into myob?
A: Our PL Compiler only goes from MYOB to Excel. I am not aware of any software that does the reverse. You could try a search at RESOURCEdb a searchable collection of web based business resources, http://resourcedb.com .

Q: I have downloaded a trial evaluation of your PL MYOB program. However, all I see is the standard ClearWater business file. How do I get to see what my own data would look like in the compiler. Also, do you use a command line interface to extract information from MYOB without my intervention, or must I first export the data from MYOB to a text file? Can you get a command line interface module from MYOB?
A: To load your own data you first need to export it from MYOB, there is no command line interface. Instructions are included with the software.

Q: I only need FOUR product groups and customer segments. Entering zero into the fifth column results in a DIV/0 error message and produces wrong charts and tables. I'm attaching my work file for your review. Can the calcs be modified to only have FOUR groups instead of FIVE please?
A: The fifth/last column values are calculated by the software. To use less than 5 Segments in the Revenue Percent/Monetary input cell for the first Segment input a significantly low number ie 0.00001, the same can be done for the Transaction Num Sales/Price input. This basically negates the significance of that Segment and eliminates the DIV/0 issue. I have also attached to this email the unprotected and pre-registered version of your Commercial license software. Simply save it to your computer. The software includes an additional sheet named Worksheet with the underlying formula and calculations. Any changes to formula may impact on the validity of the software. It is recommended that you save a copy of this as a master to ensure that you always have a valid software version. Q: In the form the variable which email address should receive the auto response ? Is it the same as the email copy? I want it to go to the person filling in the form even if they don't select email copy.
A: The auto response goes to the email address that is input to the Defined Email Address Form Field. By default this field is named Email_Address (but you can adjust this if required). This is the same email address used for the Email CC however you do not need Email CC for an auto response to be sent. For details refer to the Help file https://bizpep.com/hosthelp.php .

Q: I would like to know more about your software. I am a novice investor and want to know my rate of return on the money I am investing in the stock market. I want to track my personal performance over time. With your software, do I have a manually input all investment transactions from my Schwab account or will it connect to Schwab the way Quicken does and download all the data for analysis?
A: Investment analysis is a forecast return projector not an ongoing monitoring tool. Data is manually input. Full details and access for evaluation is provided at https://bizpep.com/uinvest.html .
