Questions & Answers
Q: Whenever i tried to download the trial copy of production mix it shows compile error. i am using ms office 97?
A: The Production Mix Model uses the Solver Add-in macros included with Microsoft Excel. The operation of the Solver Add-in is different for different Excel versions. In the download package there is a Production Mix Model for Excel 2000 and one for Excel 2002. Use the one that matches your version of Excel. Production Mix Model is not designed to run on Excel 97. Make sure you use the version that matches your Excel. A compilation error message is generated on opening this model if the Solver Add-in cannot be located. This can be due to not using the correct Production Mix Model version or Solver not being installed on your computer. To check Solver from Excel go tools, if Solver is not included in the drop down menu, select Add-ins and check Solver Add-in. Close Excel and then reopen the Production Mix Model. For more detail follow the Excel help instructions to install and load the Solver Add-in.

Q: I have successfully uploaded form codes to a .php extension on my server. I open the page in my browser and the form appears, but when I submit I get a "form delivery error" every time. I've tried to build a few different forms, but still get the same error. I ran the .php server test and my server passed with flying colors and the test email confirmation was delivered successfully. I've used your software on other websites and have never had this problem. I use IXwebhosting as my web server. Thanks for any help you may offer.
A: Your server sounds fine (in fact we use IX so there should be no problems). Is it possible the Form1 Software itself is currupted? Try rewownloading/ installing the Form1 Software and give it a try. You can also send me a copy of your form file as an email attachment and I will have a look.

Q: When should we expect to see the newer version? And what updates will be done?
A: It is due for release during April (hopefully in a couple of weeks). It will cover changes to Google standards and provide additional features such as RSS, HTML and text sitemaps, url encoding plus improved url extraction. This will make it suitable for not only Google sitemaps but for Yahoo submission and provide a human and search engine readable dynamic site map.

Q: I am thinking of buying your Form building software but I am trying to make a registration form for people so I need drop down fields, unlimited check boxes, and also browser fields to allow the registrants to send a photo of the hibiscus bloom and one of the leaf included in the form and to be able to include the form in the hibiscus web site and I do not know any html code so it would have to generate its own code can you help me.
A: You can easily build the required form using the Designer Form function in Form1 builder. You simply click/select the type of fields and input the required file name and display text. this supports all your required field types ie Select (a drop down), Check Box, Text, and File (for uploads). On point to note however is that the processing code only supports 1 file upload field per form. For full details see the Help file. It may also be worth gaining a little understanding of how a form works, some basic information can be found at https://bizpep.com/formcode.html .

Q: I have purchased your program and love it but I need to customize the preview form screen. Where do I do that at? I want to add a custom header and I want to have the Labels for the fields show with not the actual field names?
A: The format of the preview is set as a default style or applies the css style set as CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) File Name as outlined in the Help file. At present it appears you have set this as global.css so this determines the form layout (I can see this when I view source of the preview page). So either setup a css file with the required style and set the CSS File Name to this or add the required style to global.css or remove the CSS File Name and use the default style. If you use the default style and view source of the preview page you will be able to see the styles applied. You could use these as a basis for you own css file if required. On the display of the labels / field names it is best to have the field names the same as the labels but using a _ instead of a space ie label is First Name, field name is First_Name this ensures the preview is as per the form display.
