Q: Can this program be set up for rostering for a month?
A: Wage calculations are based on a weekly cycle so it only handles 1 week at a time, you can build consecutive weeks in separate files or simply use the same file and update on a weekly basis.

Q: Hi guys, one of my forms isn't working on one of my domains registered. The others work, but the one for qjb.co.nz won't work and I can't figure out why. Everything looks like it functions except I don't receive the email. I ran the test form which appeared to work, but I never received the email. Is it something to do with the host?
A: If the test form does not deliver an email then it is a host server issue. You will need to contact the host and check that php mail is available and the php mail function is not limited or blocked in any way.

Q: I am trying to forecast for a new business for years 1-3, I have inputted total values on the input page for the forecasted figures for the first year but that does not give me the correct monthly figures on the budget by month master. How do I input my opening monthly figures so they appear on the budget by month master?
A: The base figures input on the input sheet are for the current year, on the Budget by Month Master these are displayed in the Current Year column (column C). If you want these figures to apply to Year 1 set the Relative Indicators on the input sheet for Year 1 to 100% (Level of Competition to Fixed Cost Efficiency) this means that there is no change from the current to year 1 values. The Percentage Contributor on the Budget by Month Master determines the spread of the Year values across months by adjusting these you will adjust the percentage annual revenue allocated to each month. Following years are forecast based on the Relative Indicator used for each year. Hope this helps. FYI the Budget Tool Business https://bizpep.com/BudgetTool.html is an alternative budgeting tool that does not apply Relative Indicators to generate forecasts.

Q: I have bought the item and need to change the values in the Budget by Month Master chart but it is protected by password. what is the password please?
A: Use the Budget by Month sheet for adjustments. The Budget by Month allows you to update all cell data to match the Budget by Month Master when you click an Update All Button; and in the Budget by Month you change any input within a blue cell by simply overwriting the existing data. This allows you to fully refine your budget and recalculates all percentages and totals based your inputs. see the Budget by Moth section of the Instruction sheet for details. Because the Budget by Month Master is formula driven it is protected to ensure the formula are not corrupted.
