Q: I have been using your sitebuilder tool to generate a sitemap for a dynamic php website. I am very interested in buying this as I am a web developer and need to construct numerous websites. I just have a question about the xml output: The XML tags all have a hyphen in front of them like this: - <url> Does this invalid the XML ?

A: The - is not in the xml output, it is only a formatting marker added by your browser when xml is viewed in a browser. If you click the - the xml will be compressed/expanded to assist viewing. If you View Source of the xml displayed in your browser you will see that the - does not exist in the xml coding. It has no impact on the validity of the xml generated and is only browser formatting.

Q: I installed the software on our server just fine. I have one question. Every time I load sitemapxml.php I have to enter the registration info. Is this to protect our server?

A: Registration details are recorded as cookies on your computer. If your cookies are blocked, cleared or removed you will loose the registration details and will need to re-input them. This method of registration is computer/user based and not server based. To maintain the registration details entered ensure cookies are enabled and are not cleared or blocked.

Q: I'm looking for a site builder that I can run local on my linux box. I want it to run inside a web browser as if it were on the web but it would be running on my local server. That way I can use it as a development tool. I already do this local to write php pages. I'm also looking for a good open Sql server. I'm using MySql right now. Do you know of a better one.

A: Our site builder uses php so to run it local you would need php on your local system. Re the MYSQL question, do not know of anything better.

Q: I built a website just once with front page. Do I need any experience to use this software to build a new site? Do you have any support available with the terminology that I am not used to and even guiding me through?
