Q: Is this software compatible with Mac?
A: Most likely not, it is designed to run on Excel and uses a fairly high level of macros which are not always supported on Mac systems. However you can give it a test run on your system in evaluation mode to confirm, simply download from https://bizpep.com/budgetbusiness.html .

Q: My current roster works on a 21 day period which repeats the pattern after the 3 weeks. Employees work 7 and 8 days straight but get the same number of weekends off etc.
A: You can add up to 150 shifts using the Add Shifts button. So in your case add the number of shifts required to give you a 3 week roster period and then use this as your base. See the Help file for details https://bizpep.com/shiftscheduler.html .

Q: I am having a bit of trouble setting it up or getting started, in the Accounts section under income, the 1st line is the only one shaded blue,[the rest of the cells are locked] so i can't put names to jobs and GST type. so when i go into income and manually put the clients or customers names in, GST doesn't come off total so it doesn't calculate, what can i do about this or am i doing something wrong
A: On the accounts sheet you can set up over 200 accounts (column B) with Tax Items (column C) both of these columns should have blue cells allowing you to input and select. If this is not the case try re-downloading https://bizpep.com/basbusinessaccounts.html and inputting your registration details. Q: After filling out my budget and following the instructions to copy to new sheet, the sheet shows on the tab below but there is nothing there. I did it twice and nothing. Is it a copy and paste process?? How can I see and access my budget now that I have created it? Thank you.
A: When you Copy to New Sheet only the current layout is copied so make sure the required Show Year is selected ie you can see the budget year before you click Copy to New Sheet. Basically you set the budget to the required display, i.e. by selecting Show Years, Percentages etc and then click Copy to New Sheet, input a Sheet Name and your budget will be saved to this sheet. Additional detail is in the Instruction sheet. If you continue to have difficulty send me a copy of your file as an email attachment and I will have a look for you.
