Q: I am having a bit of trouble setting it up or getting started, in the Accounts section under income, the 1st line is the only one shaded blue,[the rest of the cells are locked] so i can't put names to jobs and GST type. so when i go into income and manually put the clients or customers names in, GST doesn't come off total so it doesn't calculate, what can i do about this or am i doing something wrong

A: On the accounts sheet you can set up over 200 accounts (column B) with Tax Items (column C) both of these columns should have blue cells allowing you to input and select. If this is not the case try re-downloading https://bizpep.com/basbusinessaccounts.html and inputting your registration details.
