Q: Hi, Thank you for the BAS software. Quick question, when entering totals in expenses, should only the business% of use be entered or is there somewhere where the Business % can be set for each item?
A: Only enter the amount that is a business expense. For example if 75% of a $100 expense is business and 25% is personal only enter the expense as $25.

Q: Thank you for your help. Why is the sitemap limited to 5000 links? Is there a licence for 100+ or unlimited?
A: The Limit is set to prevent possible server and browser timeouts. Using a dynamic site map you can set the Limit greater than 5000 but you need to test it to ensure your server and site structure can run this volume. See https://bizpep.com/sitemapxml/ for more info.

Q: I am looking for a tool to use to determine the cost of a product which uses both imported and local outsourced components and labour for assembly and installation- which also includes local shipping to trimmers then on to the install site and returning parts to HQ for recycling. I thought the PSPE workbook would be what I looking for but it is almost too far along the supply chain. I want to show item cost, shipping, duty, local shipping storage costs ( I thought you had something which showed the financial cost of inventory over time) , plus the cost of selling on credit, warranty allowance etc. The objective is to end up with a total local cost from which the selling price can be determined.
A: I think Product and Supplier Profitability https://bizpep.com/productsupplierprofitability.html is as close as we get (it does include some financing and holding costs). It sounds like a tailored design would be needed.

Q: Hello, I have just purchased your software to do my quarterly BAS. I have previously used a full accounting software package but when I purchased my new laptop I needed a new install and felt they charged too much. Your spreadsheet seems just what I need to calculate the GST however I really need to be able to do my bank reconciliations as well. Do you have a solution or add on to achieve this?
A: The BAS Business Accounts Software is designed to be fairly streamlined and provide a specific service as such there are no add on's for bank reconciliation. However the Income Received and Expense Paid totals are included for each month. So if you are using a single bank account and depending upon gst payments you can cross check your bank balance against the Received less the Paid amounts for the period.
