Questions & Answers
Q: Thank you for your help. Why is the sitemap limited to 5000 links? Is there a licence for 100+ or unlimited?
A: The Limit is set to prevent possible server and browser timeouts. Using a dynamic site map you can set the Limit greater than 5000 but you need to test it to ensure your server and site structure can run this volume. See https://bizpep.com/sitemapxml/ for more info.

Q: I am looking for a tool to use to determine the cost of a product which uses both imported and local outsourced components and labour for assembly and installation- which also includes local shipping to trimmers then on to the install site and returning parts to HQ for recycling. I thought the PSPE workbook would be what I looking for but it is almost too far along the supply chain. I want to show item cost, shipping, duty, local shipping storage costs ( I thought you had something which showed the financial cost of inventory over time) , plus the cost of selling on credit, warranty allowance etc. The objective is to end up with a total local cost from which the selling price can be determined.
A: I think Product and Supplier Profitability https://bizpep.com/productsupplierprofitability.html is as close as we get (it does include some financing and holding costs). It sounds like a tailored design would be needed.

Q: Hello, I have just purchased your software to do my quarterly BAS. I have previously used a full accounting software package but when I purchased my new laptop I needed a new install and felt they charged too much. Your spreadsheet seems just what I need to calculate the GST however I really need to be able to do my bank reconciliations as well. Do you have a solution or add on to achieve this?
A: The BAS Business Accounts Software is designed to be fairly streamlined and provide a specific service as such there are no add on's for bank reconciliation. However the Income Received and Expense Paid totals are included for each month. So if you are using a single bank account and depending upon gst payments you can cross check your bank balance against the Received less the Paid amounts for the period.

Q: I'm interested in buying your software. I notice the spreadsheet has the Bizpep advertising on it. I want to use it as a tool with some associates. I don't want to have advertising on it. Before I purchase the software, I'd like to find out how to remove it when I buy it.
A: There is branding on the software to identify the developer. We do offer Commercial licenses for the use of software for inter-business support, advice, or consulting and upon request with a Commercial license can provide an unprotected software version allowing you to undertake changes. In this format application sheets are unprotected, the workbook itself and the Terms and Conditions and Instructions sheets remain protected to maintain licencing and intellectual property rights notification. This may best suit your needs. If so please select Commercial License when you purchase.

Q: I am having an issue with the export function, it says to copy and paste to a text editor and all I see is a bunch code.
A: Yes the export is an XML file (a bunch of code that is both human and machine readable http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XML ). It is simply a way of making a back up copy of your data or sharing between users/computers. It is designed so you can save the input data exported to the TextArea (ie copy and paste it to a text editor like notepad) and Save As an xml file (*.xml) ie mydata.xml. You can then use Import to load the data (ie Import and select the xml file) into a different computer or as a backup. If you want you can open the xml file in a browser it will display the data in a structured format.
