Q: I do the books for multiple small business. Is there a way to add two small businesses without deleting the records of the other?
A: There are a couple of options. You can use Back Up / Full Restore each time you want to work with a different entity which is basically saving (Back Up) the data to a file on your local system and then opening (Restore) it to work on it. See the Restore section at bas-i.com.au . This approach can also be used with files saved remotely see http://bas-i.com.au/questions.html?item=25 . Alternatively you can simply access BAS-I.C via a sub domain ie http: //www.bas-i.com.au . You can do this by adding a sub domain like mybiz. in front of your BAS-I.C Account Code url so it becomes something like http: //mybiz.bas-i.com.au?c=........ This sets BAS-I.C to a sub domain address and data is saved locally via the sub domain. In essence you can have multiple sub domains set for different entities and each data set is saved locally as an independent data set ie mybiz1.bas-i.com.au , mybiz2.bas-i.com.au etc. You should also always backup you data for each business on your local system and you could have a separate folder for each business. See http://bas-i.com.au/questions.html?item=28 for some more info.

Q: I need to generate several passwords at one time for different visitors in order for them to access 1 webpage where there will be a download for them. Could you please help me with that?
A: In standard operation Password Page Protection Software applies a single password for all access and all user/page access is covered by the same password, if the page accessed is the same for all then having a single access password for all users is generally suitable. There is also a Use Password Not Set function that allows users to set their own password however it is not as secure. For details see https://bizpep.com/password/

Q: I have just started inputting for the 2015-16 tax year. I cleared the income and expense sheets from last year. Inputted expense fine, but income will not show the GST or work out the tax. How can I fix this?
A: It sounds like when you cleared your data you may have also cleared formula which do the calculations. Input is in the blue cells only and if anything else is deleted you could overwrite formula and the calculations will be corrupt. So to fix you can revert to your last year file (assuming it is all good) and then just delete the inputs in the blue cells or you can download a new clean file and use that https://bizpep.com/basbusinessaccounts.html .

Q: I am unable to access my business information using the email code. I have just upgraded to Windows 10,is this a problem?
A: No problem, Windows 10 upgrades themselves should be fine, we have done it ourselves with no loss of data. However all data is saved by the browser you use so if you are now using a different browser ie Windows Edge you will need to open the browser you used to input your data ie Internet Explorer? You can do this from Edge by clicking the More actions icon in Edge (the ellipses at the top right) and then select Open with Internet Explorer http://winsupersite.com/windows-10/how-quickly-open-microsoft-edge-pages-internet-explorer-windows-10 .. If you want to use your data in Edge then use the BAS-I.C Backup function in IE and the BAS-I.C Restore function from Edge. Hope that helps.

Q: In some cells it keeps saying unprotect but a password is needed, can you supply me with password.
A: Input is in the blue cells only. You only input the Received amount for Expenses and the Paid Amount for Income. All other values Expense/Income and Tax amount are automatically calculated on the income and expense sheet based on the setup in the Accounts sheet where you set up your accounts and applicable tax. Input is only in blue cells, other cells include formula and are protected. If you overwrite formula the calculations will be corrupt so they are protected. See the Quick Start section for details https://bizpep.com/basbusinessaccounts.html
