Questions & Answers
Q: Ideally, I want it to create an XML sitemap on the fly... How do I submit it to google? As sitemap.xml? Does this file get updated and how does it happen? Is it manual or automatic?
A: If you use our Dynamic SitMap XML in Dynamic mode the xml sitemap is automatically updated every time it is called ie (when google or anyone else checks it). It always shows current pages and does not need to be monitored or updated. A Dynamic site map is simply php code that rebuilds the sitemap everytime it is called. You save this Dynamic sitemap code as file to your server ie sitemapxml.php and submit the file url sitemapxml.php to google as the sitemap file. For details see https://bizpep.com/sitemapxml/

Q: Do you have a process for updating the xml sitemap? Meaning if a client uploads a new page to their site, do we have a way of knowing this/checking this and making sure the xml sitemap gets updated on the server and in google webmaster tool.
A: If you use our Dynamic SitMap XML in Dynamic mode the xml sitemap is automatically updated every time it is called ie (when google or anyone else checks it). It always shows current pages and does not need to be monitored or updated. A Dynamic site map always reflects the status of your site. For details see https://bizpep.com/sitemapxml/ .

Q: Is there any advantage search engine wise using static or dynamic? I have chosen to use dynamic as (if I am correct) I can make any changes I like to the website and the sitemap will regenerate automatically at the set interval. Less work for me!
A: Yes a dynamic sitemap regenerates each time it is called so it picks up changes (ie added href links) automatically, less work for you. A static sitemap is consistant from the time of generation so it never changes. For a seacrh engine there is no difference except that if you have a very large site (ie 1000's of pages) the dynamic sitmeap generation time may become an issue ie the more pages the longer it takes to generate the site map.
