Q: I am in the Party rental business which includes the rental of tents and other equipment. I am having a problem with scheduling and delivery times. Can this queuing model software assist me with deliveries, setups, collections and costing using standards that already exist in my company.

A: The Queuing Model calculates the optimum number of customer service points (staff) to minimize costs for your business. Queuing models are used in situations where a there is a queue for service including, counter staff, service staff, call response staff or maintenance staff. Depending upon your structure this may or may not be applicable. You can download and give it a try to see if it provides any value/insight. At a minimum it might help you to consider/quantify the cost of customer waiting time (customer dissatisfaction) and staff trade off's associated with this.

Q: If I purchase this model, I am able to unlock the hidden sheets to clearly understand the model logic?

A: The Queuing Model is based on standard queuing theory. Without queuing theory knowledge the logic of the process may not be clear even when viewing the model structure. With a Non-Commercial License all non-input cells and Visual Basic code are protected to ensure integrity and protect source code however we do offer Commercial licenses and upon request with a Commercial license can provide an unprotected software version allowing you to to view the formula applied, access cell contents to enhance your knowledge of software operation (macros remain protected) and undertake minor refinements (ie headings etc). In this format application sheets are unprotected, the workbook itself and the Terms and Conditions and Instructions sheets remain protected to maintain licencing and intellectual property rights notification. Please note that Bizpep retain full copyright and intellectual property rights at all times. If you purchase a Commercial license you can request an unprotected software version.

Q: I cannot register the Queuing model and I cannot get to the data spreadsheets.

A: To register the software and for it to function macros must be enabled. Please ensure you enable macros when your open the software Excel file. To assist you I have attached a pre-registered version of your software. Simply save it to your computer and open it with macros enabled. If this response not resolve your issue please provide specific details and I will be able to assist further.

Q: I would like a trial of your software with the possibility of purchasing your production mix model and your queuing model but my security is saying not to risk downloading as your site is not reputable. Could I get some assurance that downloading would be OK.

A: We are very reputable (see client comments). All software is completely safe and can be downloaded directly from our servers. 100's of copies are downloaded every day. The reason you receive a security notice is that we do not pay a third party for a secrity certificate of questionable value.
