Q: Do your excel templates work on open-office as well as windows?
A: Most templates will run in Open Office, in some cases registration macros may not function and we will send pre registered software once you have purchased a license. You can download software and give it a test run for free. We also provide many software titles in browser based formats which simply run in your browser and do not require any spreadsheet software. Our Business Analysis Software https://bizpep.com/businessanalysis.html combines Forecast, Valuation and Breakeven and Pricing Analysis in 1 browser based package.

Q: From what I gather on your website, each template is sold separately. Is it possible to put together a package at a lower price than the sum of its parts?
A: There is a 30% discount for multi licence purchases and for purchases of over 10 software titles we can provide volume pricing. If you are interested in greater than 10 software titles please let me know what titles and I will be able to provide details. We also have some combined titles such as our browser based Business Analysis Software https://bizpep.com/businessanalysis.html which combines Forecast, Valuation and Breakeven and Pricing Analysis.

Q: I need help in understanding how the valuation model works
A: The basic relationships are outlined in the software Instruction sheet and online Help file at https://bizpep.com/businessvaluation.html Additional insight can be obtained from the Help files of our web based Forecast and Valuation model which applies the same basic methodology as the Excel version. You can access these Forecast and Valuation help files from: https://bizpep.com/Help.html We also offer Commercial licenses and upon request with a Commercial license can provide an unprotected software version allowing you to to view the formula applied, access cell contents to enhance your knowledge of software operation (macros remain protected) and undertake minor refinements (ie headings etc). In this format application sheets are unprotected, the workbook itself and the Terms and Conditions and Instruction sheets remain protected to maintain licencing and intellectual property rights notification. You can upgrade from a Non-Commercial license to a Commercial license at https://bizpep.com/upgrade.html If you require additional support for specific questions not addressed in the above documents or the software please email your questions and I can assist further.

Q: I've downloaded the Excel production mix model for Excel but keep getting the following error. I'm considering purchasing the product but with this error it doesn't really function for me.
A: The Production Mix Model uses the Solver Add-in macros included with Microsoft Excel. The operation of the Solver Add-in is different for different Excel versions. In the download package there is a Production Mix Model for Excel 2007 and Excel 93-2003. Use the one that matches your version of Excel. A compilation error message is generated on opening this model if the Solver Add-in cannot be located. This can be due to not using the correct Production Mix Model version or Solver not being installed on your computer. To check Solver from Excel go tools, if Solver is not included in the drop down menu, select Add-ins and check Solver Add-in. Close Excel and then reopen the Production Mix Model. For more detail follow the Excel help instructions to install and load the Solver Add-in.
