Q: I wanted to tell you that I've been playing with your software for a little while and I LOVE it - it's a HUGE time saver. I just registered 1 user/domain. I've got a slight concern over the registration and the software itself. Where is the registration recorded? Is it in the software or is it recorded on your systems? When I use form1builder, does it check in with you to determine that my copy is legit? I guess my concern is, if you guys go out of business, will i still be able to create forms with the software that I purchased for this domain? And also, if you go out of business, I assume my existing forms will still work. Is this true? It just seems odd that the only files are html, php and js files - so, it makes me question where the registration info is being stored. I mean, I notice that after registering, the modification dates of the files have not changed. I'm looking forward to understanding this better.
A: Thanks for the feedback. On your questions the registration details for Form1 Builder are held in cookies on your computer. When you build a form using a registered Form1 Builder the form code also includes registration information ie domain etc. Both the Form and Form1 Builder are completely independent of us ie no linking etc so they will continue to work ad infinitum (forever). But make sure you keep a copy of your registration details in case you need to reinstall etc.
