Q: I would just like a few cells unprotected near the top of the Calculation Summary so I can factor in some percentages for taxes etc. to give me a more accurate picture.
A: To add some additional formula etc it may be best to link to a new workbook as the calculator is dynamic in structure and adds/removes/hides rows/columns as part of its processing. To add your own formula simply open a new workbook and then click on the cell where you want the data to be displayed, type in = and then click the source data cell in the calculator. This allows you to add any data from the caluclator in any order/arrangment you like and then add formula to provide additional information as required. Because the data is linked to the calcualtor when the calcualtor data changes the new workbook data will change efficivly making it as dynamic as the calcualtor.
