Q: Hi, I recently purchased a license for form1 builder. I am just experimenting at the moment with the software but have encountered a problem. When I build a quickform, save as .php in text editor and upload, it works fine. However, when I copy the code into Dreamweaver (V.4) it displays the php code. I have previously used this software for a different site (March 2005) and edited my forms in Dreamweaver this way and it worked fine. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks
A: As outlined in the Help file you should only use a Text Editor not a html editor (ie Dreamweaver) when editing or using the php processing code. Html editors can break the php code (as has happened on your page). By all means use Dreamwever to create your form layout but once you have completed the layout open it in a text editor and paste the processing code, and do not open the file in Dreamweaver once php code as been added. If you follow this process you should have no problems.
