Q: Some of the monetary amounts listed in the months columns had three or four decimals after the decimal point, ie 25000.0000. This was making the totals come out incorrect.
A: QuickBooks should handle more than 2 decimal places in a value and adjust accordingly. This may be an issue with QuickBooks 2006? A manual fix could be applied by editing the Imp.iif file. It can be opened in a text editor and modified if required. I am not sure that this would affect the totals as .000 + .01 is still .01?
