Q: I have a website with a cgi script. the system works with the exception of the auto responder. When the message is received from the cgi server the return address is the address of the cgi-bin. therefore the auto responder cannot work. My goal is the have the auto responder reply to the sender and alert me by forwarding the message to my cellular phone which receives text messages. Can your Form1 Builder help me accomplish this.
A: Yes, if you set Defined Name and Email fields in the Form1 Builder and your form these will be used as the From Name/Email Address in the delivered email and as the delivery address for the inbuilt or server auto responder (ie I simply replied to your form submission to send this email). You can give it a test using our test form at http:// bizpep.com/Form1Try.php and then use Form1 Builder http:// bizpep.com/form1/ to add a Form to your server (it is available free for 7 day evaluation).
Q: I want to change the font and would like the form to email to come up much tighter. At the moment it is using over a page to print out. I would be grateful for any suggestions.
A: If you are delivering your emails as plain text you can remove the default line break using the Line Break Off variable. For details see the Line Break Off section (2 II 4 d) of the Help file. If you are using send as html the email is displayed in table format using the default settings of your system. You can always adjust the text size displayed using Text Size adjust. From your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox etc) go View, Text Size.
