Q: Why do I get a Compilation Error?

A: The Production Mix Model uses the Solver Add-in included with Microsoft Excel. Two versions of the Production Mix Model are provided when you download, Excel 2000 and Excel 2002. Make sure you use the version that matches your Excel. A compilation error message is generated on opening this model if the Solver Add-in cannot be located. This can be due to not using the correct Production Mix Model version or Solver not being installed on your computer. To check Solver from Excel go tools, if Solver is not included in the drop down menu, select Add-ins and check Solver Add-in. Close Excel and then reopen the Production Mix Model. For more detail follow the Excel help instructions to install and load the Solver Add-in.
