Q: I have two teams of four men under two supervisors I want them randomly selected so the supervisors do not have the same set of men all the time, however one shift is early start and one shift is late start. Will your software make sure the men work both an equal set of morning shifts and late shifts, not necessarily every other week but it needs to be consistently split.
A: Staff are randomly allocated to shifts based on the applied constraints. So over time it will balance out however it will not actively attempt to balance out the morning and late shift allocation. If you want to guarantee a certain staff allocation ie alternate mornings etc you could run 2 separate shifts (1 morning and 1 late) simply rotate the staff that are available for each shift ie week 1 Staff 1 is in the morning shift week 2 staff 1 is in the late shift. You can download and give it a test run from https://bizpep.com/shiftscheduler.html
