Q: I wanted to know how does the password generation aspect of the software work. I want something that provides optimal security and at the same time, I don't want to spend a lot of time having to create passwords for everyone who purchases my ebook?

A: Password Page Protection Software uses a single password which is embedded into the code on the server ie anyone who has this password can gain access. The Password generator uses a random approach to generate a password for you, you then use this (or anything you like) in the code.
