Q: I just downloaded the Eval version of Form 1 Builder for Goldmine. I am using Goldmine 6.5 Corporate Edition and have set up the form successfully and received the e-mail into Goldmine. When I try to add the e-mail as a contact, several of the fields are missing. I have read your previous responses that the form fields have to match the database fields exactly including case. I have checked this by right-clicking on the field in Goldmine and selecting Properties. The name I am referencing is under Field Data, Name in Database. Is this what I should put in the web form? If yes, is there anything else I need to enable in Goldmine, as I am unable to add the contact with all of the fields.
A: Yes Field Data, Name in Database is correct. Are you receiving an email in WebImport format ie the to includes {$GM-WEBIMPORT$} and the body something like [Instructions] SaveThis=Web Import File [Data] field names = data . You can see what a it looks like using the test GoldMine Form1 at https://bizpep.com/form1/ . If you are not receiving a WebImport email you need to set the GoldMine Use see the Help file https://bizpep.com/form1/ . If you are receiving a WebImport email it try the test GoldMine Form1 and see if and what it imports form here you should be able to identify what's what.
