Q: Hello. I'm testing your splendid SiteMapXML software on a WordPress blog site. I think it's *exactly* what I've been looking for... robust but still very easy to use. But I have a question... On the first sweep through the site, the HTML output shows a few hundred links marked "403 FORBIDDEN." Is this just a limitation in the non-registered version, or a known bug?

A: The SiteMap Generator only uses and displays what is returned from the server when it calls a page. So if a 403 is returned then that is what will be displayed. This is the same as when a Search Engine attempts to crawl a page. A crawler (SiteMap Generator or Search Engine) does not use cookies etc so any page that requires authorized access will be 403.
