Questions & Answers
Q: We would like to purchase your Budgeting and forecasting workbook but we need to know if we can delete your logos and marketing content once we purchase the software and all the locked cells will be unlocked or we will be provided with a password to unlock them.
A: If you are referring to our Forecast and Budget Builder with a standard Non-Commercial license all non-input cells and Visual Basic code are protected to ensure integrity and protect source code. We do offer Commercial licenses for the use of software for inter-business support, advice, or consulting and upon request with a Commercial license can provide an unprotected software version allowing you to to view the formula applied, access cell contents to enhance your knowledge of software operation (macros remain protected) and undertake minor refinements (ie headings etc). In this format application sheets are unprotected, the workbook itself and the Terms and Conditions and Instructions sheets remain protected to maintain licencing and intellectual property rights notification. Please note that Bizpep retain full copyright and intellectual property rights at all times. A Commercial license fee is three times that of a Non-Commercial license
Q: We are looking to buy a good budget software that can integrate with excel and if possible our accounting software (quickbooks). I would like to know if we can get a demonstration of the budget software that your company can sell us and also would like to know the cost of the software.
A: You can access full details and download evaluation versions of all our budgeting software from the Software and Models folder at http:// bizpep.com . Full pricing details for all our titles are available from https://bizpep.com/appinfo.html .
Q: I cannot determine whether to buy the Budget Tool or the Forecast Budget Builder. How do you suggest I work out which one would suit? Does the Budget Tool perform any forecasting? I already use an Excel workbook for my budget. I do need forecasting capability, and there seems to be more charts in the Forecast Builder that would be very useful. Would I be wrong in saying that the FBBE is more advanced than the BTBE?
A: They are really providing different benefits. The Forecast and Budget Builder is a high level tool that provides a forecast and a very high level budgeting capacity (not itemized lines). The Budgeting Tool allows you to add any line items you like but does not really provide a high level forecast. Many clients use both together, the Forecast and Budget Builder to generate a forecast and get a high level feel of revenue and costs. They then use this as a frame work from which they develop a more detailed budget using the Budget Tool (if you already have a budget spreadsheet this could possibly be used for the detailed budget).
Q: I am looking for a software program for budgeting
A: If you are creating a business budget you can download and try our Budget Tool Business Excel ( https://bizpep.com/BudgetTool.html ). This allows you to build a detailed business budget. We also have a high level Forcecast and Budget Builder ( https://bizpep.com/forecastbudget.html ), many clients use this to gain a high level forecast and then use this as a guide for their detailed budget.
