Q: I am in the process of evaluating the trial version of the Business Valuation Model Excel. I am not sure how taxation is dealt with or where it is incorporated into the model. Please clarify whether the model looks at pre-tax or post-tax profits. If taxation is not considered how can changes be made to look at after tax returns.
A: The model is pre-tax. Taxation is not a consideration and is not a componet of the valuation. Taxation depends upon individual circumstances and as with any investment valuation it should be judged on its merit (ie not for tax reasons). Were applicable the impact of taxation can then be considered.

Q: We are a non-profit and have 5 years of budget actual history. I am looking for a product in Excel (or standalone) that will analyze that information and try and trend/forecast future budgets. Do you sell (or know of) any such product?
A: The Budget Tool Business allows you to build a budget based on variations to previous performance however it does not analyse existing data to determine what tends/variations exist. See https://bizpep.com/BudgetTool.html for details. I am not aware of any software that performs a historical analysis and builds a forecast from the analysis.

Q: I have seen and worked a bit on your BEP template. It is good software to calculate BEP and profits however I can only calculate for one product only. You perfectly know companies produce and sells several products or even categories. Also what is more important producers, companies are more interested now in BEP calculations for an Accounts or Channels (to develop profitable Channel Management Strategy).
A: You may want to look at our Profit Contribution Breakdown software at https://bizpep.com/profitcontribution.html . This allows you to determine the surplus generated by different components of a business ie products, channels, business units etc. You can also run individual breakeven analysis by allocating a component of fixed costs to a product line or channel and doing a breakeven analysis (with the Pricing and Breakeven Analysis software) for each.
