Questions & Answers
Q: If I enter nothing in the relative % column and input data from a different spreadsheet will my budget figures transfer correctly ?
A: If you leave the % empty then the budget values will be empty (0). If you want the budget values to be the same as the imported values set the % to 100.

So, we could input the information/data into Excel and import into Quickbooks or export information from QB into Excel. Will the Budget Compiler Quickbooks Excel allow us to do this?
A: Yes, you can download and give it a test run from https://bizpep.com/budgetbusiness.html

Q: I am interested in this product, but am wondering if it will work for a nonprofit where the quickbooks is set up with multiple funds and budgets. Please let me know. Thanks!
A: It will import based on the structure you export from Quickbooks. If you want you could combine multipule funds/exports etc by linking to a new workbook were you could manipulate as required. Probably the best approach is to download the Compiler and give it a test run to see if it suits your needs. It is availabe free for evaluation from https://bizpep.com/budgetbusiness.html .

Q: Can this template also graph EBITDA?
A: You can link any required imported data to a new Excel workbook (either from a New Budget or the main Compiler) for any manipulation or additional graphing/analysis required. The Compiler itself does not identify / calculate EBITDA.

Q: Hi I would like to know if the Quickbooks budget complier will work for us. I've had a look and I'm not sure. Essentially we have a complex budget, with about 20 different cost centers. We need to be able to input the budget by month for each individual cost centre. I've tried doing this using the IFF files, but it will only work on calander year, but we need financial year. Can you help?
A: It should work (may require a little manipulation). Export the exisiting data to a .csv file and then import it to the compiler. If required you can manipulate the data in the csv file, the compiler or even the generated IFF file. The best approach is to give it a try. You can download from https://bizpep.com/budgetbusiness.html .
