Questions & Answers
Q: I am unable to use the older SiteMap XML Dynamic SiteMap Generator version because it uses outdated PHP functions. It has been 5 years, so the old code for sitemap generation no longer functions with the new version of PHP.
A: You can download the last version of the SiteMap XML Dynamic SiteMap Generator from https://bizpep.com/sitemapxml/ . This was the final release of the bizpep sitemap generator. It includes the same options/design as your purchased version. The bizpep site and products have now been retired and some links to retired sites will not function. As additional support we have also provided a hosted version of the last SiteMap XML Dynamic SiteMap Generator version at https://bizpep.com/sitemapxml/ /sitemapxml.php

Q: Hi, I am trying to get the trial version of SiteMap XML Software to work before purchasing. I followed the instructions it seems to function but doesn't crawl any pages (just shows the initial URL in the sitemap). I don't see that answered in the FAQ's, could you suggest how to troubleshoot that?
A: You need to set your Include Url's with value to match your site structure. I added a / to Include Url's with and css to Exclude Url's with (to exclude all your css files being listed) clicked Generate Static Sitemap and returned a sitemap with 133 unique links as per screenshots below. See the Include URLs with section of the help file https://bizpep.com/sitemapxml/ for details. You may need to adjust these values further to suit your specific requirements. Let me know how you go.

Q: I've been testing out your Dynamic XML Site Map tool, but file isn't listing any of my URL's. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
A: You need to adjust your Include URLs with settings to match you site structure. Add a backslash "/" to the Include URL's with setting so it matches your urls which have no file extension.... see https://bizpep.com/sitemapxml/

Q: I need to know if your XML Sitemap software will work "well" with a directory site. I have nearly 3 million listings in the site now. I plan over 20 million listings. I've tried the xml-sitemaps.com software and it's failing to write to the sitemap.xml file, and, it keeps stalling. So, I need to know if "bizpep" XML Sitemap will work well. And, this must be a dynamic sitemap.xml file so that it updates automatically - either at intervals or when a change in the site is detected. I'm not concerned about submitting to search engines. Having a sitemap.xml file in the root of the site will be enough.
A: It depends on your site structure and server capacity. We do recommend the dynamic sitemap for sites upto 500 pages... This limit is really only related to server crawl time and time outs so it can be much larger. The best test would be to try it... the static and dynamic fnctionality is basically the same so you can try a quick static test to see the returned results and then move to a full dynamic file on your server.

Q: I am having an issue with the export function, it says to copy and paste to a text editor and all I see is a bunch code.
A: Yes the export is an XML file (a bunch of code that is both human and machine readable http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XML ). It is simply a way of making a back up copy of your data or sharing between users/computers. It is designed so you can save the input data exported to the TextArea (ie copy and paste it to a text editor like notepad) and Save As an xml file (*.xml) ie mydata.xml. You can then use Import to load the data (ie Import and select the xml file) into a different computer or as a backup. If you want you can open the xml file in a browser it will display the data in a structured format.
